Creative Inspiration

At a recent TED Salon, a little factoid about New Yorker Cartoon Editor Bob Mankoff was revealed that I am absolutely, completely, totally head-over-heels in love with!

When Mankoff quit psychology school in 1997 to become a cartoonist, he submitted 2,000 cartoons to the New Yorker that year. Of them, 2,000 were rejected. Today, he is the magazine’s cartoon editor.

Talk about crazy inspiration overload. Hat tip to Maria Popova's exp.lore.com
